Ginger was born and raised in Okaloosa County and after pursuing her degree at Oklahoma State University, decided there was no better place to be than her hometown of Fort Walton Beach. She has worked for various companies in the area all the while still pursuing her passion for nonprofits. She has served on the board of directors for the Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus since 2022. While serving on the board, Ginger wanted to broaden her knowledge base so she started working on her Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from LSU Shreveport, graduating in 2024. At United Way, Ginger is the Impact Manager. Working closely with partner nonprofit organizations to ensure that our community has access to the programs they need.
In her free time, Ginger loves knitting, cuddling with her dog, Purl, and singing with the FWBCC. She also loves traveling with a goal of visiting all 50 states by the time she turns 50. Her latest count was 25.
