Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
United Way Emerald Coast (UWEC) seeks to mobilize all people to improve lives and create a community where everyone has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. We value and acknowledge the visible and invisible qualities, backgrounds, and limitations that make up our diverse community and we strive not only to improve access but to prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion practices at the center of our daily work. Together, United, we will more effectively provide the access, opportunity, and support needed for the advancement of all people.
United Way Emerald Coast (UWEC) adheres to stringent financial reporting requirements to ensure accountability and transparency. Each year, UWEC undergoes an audit by an independent CPA firm and files the Form 990 with the IRS. The audit report and Form 990 are reviewed by UWEC’s Finance Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
There is nothing more important to UWEC than the trust and confidence of our donors. For that reason, UWEC maintains the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and transparency in the stewardship and financial management of donors’ investments into our community. We believe that a key element of transparency is freely sharing not only our IRS Form 990 (as required by law) but also our independently audited financial statements. It is our hope that doing so demonstrates our commitment to public accountability for the financial stewardship of the assets our donors have entrusted to us.
Below you will find United Way Emerald Coast's independently audited Annual Financial Statements, IRS Form 990 filings, and our most recent Annual Reports.
