Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
United Way Emerald Coast (UWEC) seeks to mobilize all people to improve lives and create a community where everyone has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. In order to Unite around key issues facing Okaloosa and Walton counties, UWEC engages and supports individuals and organizations who represent the diversity of the communities we serve – respecting and valuing the different perspectives they may provide. Together, United, we will more effectively create and implement solutions to address our region’s most critical issues while creating opportunities for a better life for all.
United Way Emerald Coast (UWEC) adheres to stringent financial reporting requirements to ensure accountability and transparency. Each year, UWEC undergoes an audit by an independent CPA firm and files the Form 990 with the IRS. The audit report and Form 990 are reviewed by UWEC’s Finance Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.
There is nothing more important to UWEC than the trust and confidence of our donors. For that reason, UWEC maintains the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and transparency in the stewardship and financial management of donors’ investments into our community. We believe that a key element of transparency is freely sharing not only our IRS Form 990 (as required by law) but also our independently audited financial statements. It is our hope that doing so demonstrates our commitment to public accountability for the financial stewardship of the assets our donors have entrusted to us.
Below you will find United Way Emerald Coast's independently audited Annual Financial Statements, IRS Form 990 filings, and our most recent Annual Reports. (For copies of earlier years, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org). Additionally, we have listed our Accreditations.
