Kelly Jasen joined our community in November 2019, becoming the first female CEO of United Way Emerald Coast. She oversees day-to-day operations for the nonprofit organization and leads the effort to strengthen communities by mobilizing the caring, compassionate power of Okaloosa and Walton counties.
She has more than 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Prior to this role, she served for three years as United Way of West Florida's Director of Development in Pensacola. In that position, she led the development department to build strong relationships with companies and donors and raised more than $6 million for United Way of West Florida and their community partners.
She has a strong passion for making a difference in the lives of others and has been honored for her commitment to the community. She was recently selected to join the 2020-21 Leadership Okaloosa program and Mentoring Emerald Coast Program. She serves on the Transportation Disadvantaged Coordinating Boards for both Okaloosa and Walton counties, is a member of Niceville Young Professionals and Walton County Young Professionals. In 2019 she was recognized as a Philanthropic Woman of the Year Nominee by Junior League of Pensacola and in 2018, Kelly was highlighted as a Rising Star by Inweekly Magazine. She is a graduate of Leadership Pensacola and has been recognized for her volunteerism with the Silver Level President's Volunteer Service Award. She holds a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Central Florida in Orlando.
She is honored to lead our local United Way and looks forward to bringing innovative and energetic leadership to the organization.
